We’d like to wish our guests from the past, present and future a very Merry Christmas.
What a year! During 2021, we’ve loved welcoming guests to The Cottages at Blackadon Farm as COVID restrictions eased. There were so many occasions when guests looked so happy to have a holiday, a change of scenery and be reunited with loved ones.
Thank you for choosing to stay with us. Please come again – we hope to see you again soon in our one, two. three, five and 10 bedroom cottages.
Please read on to find out how you can get a £50 voucher to spend if you book and pay for a stay during summer or October half term holidays.
We’re Devon’s top new tourism business
This year, our efforts have led to The Cottages at Blackadon Farm receiving the accolade of Visit Devon’s Top New Tourism Business. Recognition didn’t stop there either.
We were also awarded the 2nd most Ethical, Responsible & Sustainable Tourism Business in Devon and one of the top four dog friendly places to stay in the UK.
When you stay, we hope you’ll feel our awards are well deserved and feel assured that we’re doing everything we can to give you a great stay.
£50 gift voucher when you book a week’s stay in the summer or October half term holidays
We love working with local businesses and we’re giving you an opportunity to support them too. If you book and pay in full for a week’s stay during the summer or October half term holidays by 1 March 2022, we’ll give you a £50 voucher to spend at the local pub – The Horse & Groom, or in the Moorland café at Wrangaton Golf Club. Looking for an alternative? If you prefer, we’ll give you a £40 voucher towards the cost of your cottage.
This offer is available for bookings made in our two and three bedroom cottages. The promotion is for seven night stays between 24 July and 2 September and 21 to 29 October 2022. It’s as simple as that.
New – Massage therapist
We know that you want to relax when you stay with us, so how about booking Amy, our qualified deep tissue and sports massage therapist? Amy sets up her heated couch in your cottage so you don’t even need to leave your place.
In the last few month, Amy from Flex Sports Massage has spent many hours with our guests and she’s well worth booking before you arrive.
New – Exquisite Wood Carvings
When you visit, keep an eye out the amazing wood carvings that are becoming a bit of a local landmark.
Devon Live, the county’s leading news publication recently wrote about how nature lovers are raving about them.
One of the carvings is a two-metre-high face of mother nature, in honour of our beautiful surroundings. You’ll also find a two-metre-tall owl. Owls are among our favourite visitors to the farm.
Make sure you take a picture with the carvings when you see them.
Celebrating during your stay?
Remember to let us know if you’re planning to celebrate something special during your stay. We can put you in touch with our local caterer – Dartmoor Larder, secure you the best celebration cakes from a fantastic baker and introduce a local supplier for all your party pieces.
