The South West’s Best Self-Catering Accommodation

We’re blown away by our latest accolade.

We’ve been awarded the South West’s Self Catering Accommodation of the Year 2021/2022. Eligible businesses were judged across a huge region stretching from Gloucestershire to Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and down to the Isles of Scilly.

This builds on being awarded the Visit Devon Tourism Award for Devon’s Best Self Catering Accommodation in March 2022.

For relative newbies to the tourism industry, we’re delighted to be making a positive contribution to the region’s self-catering accommodation sector, in one of the country’s most competitive holiday destinations.

But what’s our secret? We’re not 100% sure! However, we continue to do things and provide cottages that anticipate the needs of current and future staycationers.

It’s OK if you’re arriving late, that’s OK, we’ll leave the lights on.

If you like reading up on what to do before you visit, that’s OK too – we send you a Good Stay Guide electronically when you book.

You need to keep in touch with your family, friends and colleagues? We absolutely understand and have the best wifi speeds around.

Guests are also assured that they’ll receive a single contact point from the time they book to the time they leave (hopefully leaving a great review then too!).

Relax from the moment you get here in our properties which are modern, uncluttered, stylish yet homely.

If you don’t wish to see us after a long journey, that’s OK as we can offer remote check ins. For those guests who like to see us, let us know when you arrive and we’ll pop over to your home from home.

These things are just the start. We could go on and on. We have a sustainable, responsible and ethical ethos to towards our planet and how we work with our guests. Our setting on Dartmoor National Park is magical.

One thing is for sure though, our guests are at the heart of what we do. We love them and when they come back, they get little surprises to thank them for their loyalty and friendship.
